The Kanomax model 4200 vibration meter is a portable and convenient handheld tool that can help users assess problematic vibrations in manufacturing equipment and industrial products. Simply attach the magnetic accelerometer to the equipment, and the vibration meter will easily and accurately measure the vibrations. This measuring device is particularly useful for industrial hygiene investigations and industrial machinery checkups. It is easy to use and requires very little training for proper operation.

The slender device is lightweight and easily portable. The front of the meter houses the operation controls and easy to read display. The five buttons are able to control almost every aspect of the meter’s operations and are appropriately labeled for ease of use. The large backlit screen displays the measurements at any given point in time. The 4200 model sound meter also comes standard with several accessories such as the accelerometer with cable and magnet, the contact pin, 2 AAA batteries, a carrying case, and a calibration certificate

Vibration Meter Model 4200 Specifications

The vibration meter has a measurement range of .02 to 200 m/s2 RMS for acceleration, .02 to 200 mm/s RMS for velocity, and 2 to 200 m eqP-P for displacement. Its frequency range is 3 hertz to 10 kilohertz for acceleration, 10 hertz to 1 kilohertz for velocity, and 10 hertz to 400 hertz for displacement. It reads RMS, peak, EQ peak, and EQ peak-to-peak. It has an AC output, and a headphone output. The meter can operate in a variety of climates and conditions from temperatures of -10 to 50 degrees Celsius and a humidity range of 30% to 90%. The unit is compact and portable with dimensions of 5.7 x 1.9 x .9 inches and approximately 4.6 ounces.
