HI96749 Chromium VI, Low Range, Portable Photometer by Hanna Instruments

At normal temperatures chromium is corrosion-resistant. For this reason, it plays an important role in the plating industry as well as cooling towers. In addition, it has certain qualities that make it useful in the production processes of the textile industry.

The HI 96749 meter measures the hexavalent chromium (Cr VI) content in water and waste waters samples.

The meter uses an exclusive positive-locking system to ensure that the cuvette is in the same position every time it is placed into the measurement cell.
