Pressure gauges installed on the inlet and outlet of a filter housing can be used to determine when the cartridges are dirty. The pressure gauges give a visual indication of the pressure before and after the filter. The more the filter loads up with particles, the more the differential pressure increases. Once the differential pressure reaches a user determined value, usually 15-25 psid, the operator knows that the filter needs to be changed or cleaned. Consult filter cartridge manufacturer for maximum psid recommendations as this value varies based on cartridge type.

This kit is designed for use with GTCHB Multi Round Cartridge Housings as well GBF and GMBV Series Filter Bag Housings. The PGK-160 includes gauges for the inlet and outlet as well as installation fittings.
