RS232-to-RS485 multi-drop modem kit for systems that have a multi-host to weather station communication requirement. Kit consists of three MD485 multi-drop modems with AC power converters. Units are pre-programmed and ready for installation.

Typical application is for Home Automation connections to both a control system and an owner PC or IP server module.

WeatherHawk-IP enables any WeatherHawk automatic weather station, with an available serial port, to become a real-time weather data network server. WeatherHawk-IP supports bi-directional communications between a WeatherHawk weather station and an ethernet. A user can set the weather station clock, date, data log and communications intervals, and get real-time values over the internet/intranet. File transfer formats supported are text based HTML, XML and CSV.

The WeatherHawk-IP module is supplied in a weatherproof, outdoor enclosure with programming software, cables and a user manual.

User access is browser based. NOTE: WeatherHawk-XP/X software v.2.0.0 and higher supports the WeatherHawk-IP.

This product is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) converter that provides a plug and play RS232 serial connection to a USB input on a computer. The converter consists of a 1 meter long cable and software. Supports up to 230kbps data rates between most devices. Supports Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP & Linux operating systems. NOTE: This product is commercially produced and may not always be available in this specific configuration. WeatherHawk may substitute an equal or better part if this device is discontinued by the manufacturer.
